Aside from getting a brand-new adventure with a more in-depth look at the city and a real-time combat engine, players were excited about the possibility of being reunited with <strong>Mega Charizard X<\/strong>, the mega evolution of Charizard that debuted in <em>X and Y<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>However, this month there was another place, outside the digital environments of <em>Pok\u00e9mon Legends: Z-A<\/em>, where fans could spot Mega Charizard X: the real-world skies of <strong>Nagakasi!<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-lang=\"en\" data-dnt=\"true\" data-partner=\"jetpack\">\n<p lang=\"ja\" dir=\"ltr\">\uff3c\uff3c\u3000  \u3000\/ \u3000\uff0f\uff0f<br \/>\u9577\u5d0e\u306e\u305d\u3089\u3092\u3068\u3076<br \/>\uff0f\uff0f\u3000 \/\u3000 \u3000 \uff3c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/GO%E3%83%AF%E3%82%A4%E3%83%AB%E3%83%89%E3%82%A8%E3%83%AA%E3%82%A2%E9%95%B7%E5%B4%8E?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#GO\u30ef\u30a4\u30eb\u30c9\u30a8\u30ea\u30a2\u9577\u5d0e<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/annCHT4wlX\">pic.twitter.com\/annCHT4wlX<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u3010\u516c\u5f0f\u3011\u30dd\u30b1\u30e2\u30f3\u60c5\u5831\u5c40 (@poke_times) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/poke_times\/status\/1987363391363563936?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 9, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Mega Charizard X took to the skies as part of the<strong> Pok\u00e9mon GO Wild Area Nagasaki<\/strong> fan event, which was held from November 7 to 9. Aside from special <em>Pok\u00e9mon Go<\/em> in-game events, decorations were put up at points around the city, such as Nagasaki Station and Peace Stadium.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-717110\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/pn-2.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-717111\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/pn-3.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One of the coolest of all, though, was the <strong>gigantic Mega Charizard X kite<\/strong> which flew near the coastline. The design is seriously impressive, making use of a huge number of seams and stitches. Not only does this make for an incredibly detailed recreation of the Pok\u00e9mon that\u2019s instantly recognizable, <strong>the multi-sectioned construction also means that the Mega Charizard X\u2019s wings, neck, tail, and limbs can all stretch and sway as the material billows in the wind, making it look like it\u2019s an actual living, flying creature<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-717112\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/pn-4.jpg?w=578\" alt=\"\" width=\"578\" height=\"768\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Online reactions to the video, posted to the official <em>Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> Pok\u00e9 Times Twitter account, have included:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cAwesome!!!\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cSeeing Charizard dancing in the sky like this gets me all fired up.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cThe cloudy sky in the background really makes it look like it\u2019s actually flying.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt looks like it\u2019s having so much fun.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt\u2019s so huge\u2026\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cIt\u2019s even got smoke billowing from it\u2019s mouth.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cWhen you think about it, the world of Pok\u00e9mon must be terrifying for people. They\u2019ve got things like this flying overhead all the time.\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cI wonder if they\u2019ll do a collaboration with [the <a href=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/2023\/06\/16\/the-top-11-japanese-summer-festivals-according-to-travellers\/\">Nebuta Festival<\/a> in] Aomori?\u201d<\/em><br \/>\n<em>\u201cI wish I could have seen this in person!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-717113\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/11\/pn-5.jpg?w=578\" alt=\"\" width=\"578\" height=\"772\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Regarding that last comment, the Pok\u00e9mon GO Wild Area Nagasaki event is over, but considering how much work obviously went into kite, it obviously wasn\u2019t tossed in the trash when the even wrapped up, so it\u2019s really more a question of \u201cwhen,\u201d rather then \u201cif,\u201d fans will get to see it again. In the meantime, <strong>more video footage of both the Mega Charizard X kite and a similarly gigantic Mega Charizard Y that was also displayed at the event will be shown on an upcoming November 16 episode of the Pok\u00e9mon Doko Iku?
