Roppongi exhibition marks 30th anniversary of the Evangelion TV series\u2019 premier, but celebrates the entire anime franchise<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n When there\u2019s an Evangelion<\/strong> event announced, an immediate question that pops into the heads of fans is \u201cWhich Evangelion<\/em>?\u201d After all, there\u2019s the original 1995 anime TV series, which has a trio of theatrical features lumped into its continuity, but there\u2019s also the Rebuild of Evangelion<\/em>, a retelling\/reboot\/arguable sequel movie tetralogy whose releases span the period from 2007 to 2021.<\/p>\n So with an Evangelion<\/em> exhibition going on right now in Tokyo<\/strong>, which Evangelion<\/em> is being covered? All of it, which is why the event is called All of Evangelion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n All of Evangelion is taking place at Tokyo City View<\/strong>, the 52nd floor observation deck of the Mori Building<\/strong> at the Roppongi Hills<\/strong> entertainment center. Visitors are greeted by a giant statue of Evangelion Unit-01<\/strong>, created specifically for this event, in the lobby, but that\u2019s just the first of many awesome things to see.<\/p>\n Inside the exhibition halls are what organizers say is the largest collection of Evangelion<\/em> production materials to ever be displayed in a single place<\/strong>, with animation cels, pre-production design sketches, layout sheets, and storyboards<\/strong> from across the franchise\u2019s animation history.
