But what if inside that container was <em>another<\/em> container, and inside of it was something extra joyful?<\/p>\n<p>Then you might end up with something as adorable as <strong>Hello Kitty in a can<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-724523\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/01\/cs-2-1.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"847\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Toymaker<strong> Takara Tomy Arts\u2019<\/strong> designers are launching a new line of capsule toys they call<strong> Can Chara<\/strong>, featuring famous characters peeking out of tins like you just went grocery shopping in some alternate world where the power of cuteness itself creates an aura of nourishment. For the first batch of Can Chara figures, Takara Tomy Arts extended a hand to <strong>Sanrio<\/strong>, and the home of Kitty-chan and her friends was happy to accept the invitation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-724524\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/01\/cs-3-1.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"880\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As always, a big part of the buy-or-don\u2019t-buy decision for capsule toy fans is the possible variance between their most and least desired pieces in the lineup. The selection here looks pretty solid, with perennially popular Hello Kitty of course being part of the bunch. She\u2019s joined by <a href=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/2025\/07\/01\/sanrio-character-ranking-results-cinnamarolls-five-year-streak-broken-poll-still-goes-to-dogs\/\">the first, second, and third-place finishers in the most recent Sanrio Character Ranking poll<\/a>, <strong>Pom Pom Purin<\/strong>, <strong>Cinnamaroll<\/strong>, and <strong>Pochacco<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-724525\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/01\/cs-4-1.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"874\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u25bc As a fan\/grower of carrots, naturally one shows up on the label for Pochacco\u2019s can.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-724526\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/01\/cs-5-1.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"866\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The fifth can, though, contains characters that don\u2019t get very much time in the spotlight: <strong>Nye<\/strong> and <strong>Nyon<\/strong>. Part of the <strong>Nya Ni Nyu Nye Nyon<\/strong> (<em>nya<\/em> being the sound of a cat meowing in Japanese) five-sibling set that debuted in 1984. We last saw Nye and Nyon on <a href=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/2025\/02\/05\/64-sanrio-characters-decades-of-kawaii-culture-history-all-on-one-cup-from-100-yen-store-daiso%E3%80%90pics%E3%80%91\/\">Daiso\u2019s cool 64-character Sanrio cups<\/a>, and it\u2019s good to see that they\u2019ve apparently been doing OK since then, even if they do look a little confused as to how they ended up inside a can.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-724527\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/01\/cs-6-1.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"873\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The figures are priced at 300 yen (US$2) each and should be showing up in capsule toy machines later this month.
