In keeping with the gift-giving theme, the nine KitKats inside each pack come in specially designed packaging. Some have messages like \u201c\u30ad\u30c3\u30c8\u5fc3\u914d\u306a\u3044\u3088\u201d (\u201cKitto shinpai nai yo\u201d [\u201cSurely there\u2019ll be no worries\u201d]) and \u201c\u30ad\u30c3\u30c8\u51fa\u3057\u5207\u308c\u308b!\u201d (\u201cKitto dashikireru yo\u201d [\u201cYou can definitely give it your all!\u201d] on them, while others are left blank for you to write on.<\/p>\n

This is due to the cherry blossom leaf powder<\/strong> that has been mixed through the white chocolate coating and the crispy wafers within, which are made with cherry blossom-flavored dough and contain\u00a0pink feuilletine (crepe pieces) for extra sakura flavour.<\/p>\n

All these cherry blossom ingredients combine to create an incredibly well-balanced treat, with hints of saltiness from the cherry blossom leaves intermingling with the sweetness of the white chocolate to help draw out the floral aromas, leaving a refreshing, springlike aftertaste on the tongue.<\/p>\n
