However, their Type won\u2019t change unless they evolve into a different species. So, for example, while a weak Bulbasaur can become a stronger Bulbasaur, there\u2019s no way for it to become a Flying-type Bulbasaur.<\/p>\n<p>At least, there aren\u2019t any Flying Bulbasaurs within the <em>Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> video games and anime. Here in the real world, though? <strong>We\u2019ve got flying Bulbasaurs, flying Squirtles, and a whole lot of other ordinarily non-airborne Pocket Monsters that\u2019ll be taking to the skies, thanks to ANA\/All Nippon Airways<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-738188\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/07\/2_3cf7d6.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"243\" \/><\/p>\n<p>ANA has unveiled the designs for three different <strong>Pok\u00e9mon Jets<\/strong>. Called<strong> Pok\u00e9mon Jet Red, Green, and Blue<\/strong>, their designations match the titles of the first three <em>Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> video games for the Gameboy, and are meant as a salute to the <em>Pok\u00e9mon<\/em> franchise\u2019s 30th anniversary, which it\u2019s celebrating this year.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-738189\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/07\/3_533d44.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"243\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mirroring the three games\u2019 release order in Japan,<strong> the Pok\u00e9mon Jet Red will be the first to fly, and features all 10 Fire-type starter Pok\u00e9mon<\/strong>. Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Chimchar, Tepig, Fennekin, Litten, Scorbunny, and Fuecoco are here, and so is Pombon, who won\u2019t be making its in-game debut until <em>Pok\u00e9mon Winds and Waves<\/em> releases on the Switch 2 sometime next year.<\/p>\n<p>\u25bc <strong>Pikachu<\/strong>, of course, is also along for the ride on each of the Pok\u00e9mon Jets.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-738190\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/07\/4_812a71.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"489\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In addition to being represented in the plane\u2019s exterior graphics, all those Pok\u00e9-pals will be waiting inside too, in the forms of special<strong> cup and napkin designs for the in-flight drink service and illustrated seat headrest covers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-738191\" src=\"https:\/\/soranews24.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/07\/5_b62430.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"572\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Pok\u00e9mon Jet Red\u2019s first flight will be on <strong>July 29<\/strong>, on a route between<strong> Tokyo\u2019s Haneda Airport<\/strong> and Fukuoka Airport.
