For Paris-based <a href=\"https:\/\/doppelstudio.fr\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">D\u00f6ppel Studio<\/a>, a collaboration between Lionel Dinis Salazar and Jonathan Omar, a millennia-old form inspires a contemporary collection.<\/p>\n<p><em>N\u00e9ophore<\/em> is a series of terracotta and enamel vessels intersected with looping, handle-like tubes of glowing neon. Situated between sculpture, vessel, and lamp,<em> <\/em>the series takes a sophisticated yet playful approach to the relationship between form and function.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thisiscolossal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/doppel-8-960x1440.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-447116\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Salazar and Omar teamed up with ceramicist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/alma_mater_ceramiques\/?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ali\u00e9nor Martineau<\/a>, who specializes in mineral-based natural glazes, to customize a reflective enamel that would come alive under the light.
