In recent years, 7-Eleven<\/strong> has carved out a niche for itself in the Japanese convenience store world as the place to go for gummies<\/strong>, specifically the exclusive chocolate-covered fruit gummy range known as \u201cChocotto Gummy<\/strong>\u201c. A play on the words \u201cchoco to gummy\u201d (\u201cchocolate and gummy<\/strong>\u201c) and \u201cchokotto gummy\u201d (\u201cjust a little gummy<\/strong>\u201c), this range has become so popular that people have been known to buy multiple bags at a time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Okinawa is famous for producing high-quality brown sugar in its tropical climate, but we weren\u2019t sure how it would pair with chocolate gummies, so we decided to try both varieties to see how they would taste. The two packets, with their summery hibiscus motifs, look surprisingly similar at first glance so be careful not to grab the wrong one when you\u2019re shopping.<\/p>\n
