If the fruit suddenly had two eyes and a stem-like nose, it might look a little like <a href=\"https:\/\/products.takeopaper.com\/pages\/pepet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">P\u00c9PET<\/a>, the palm-size \u201cpaper friend\u201d produced by TAKEO Co., Ltd. Originally designed by <a href=\"http:\/\/masaenagao.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Masae Nagao<\/a>, the colorful characters come with names like \u201cDandel,\u201d \u201cFuji,\u201d and \u201cSky.\u201d They\u2019re each composed of more than 400 of layers of colorful paper, and they adorably wobble and ruffle when handled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Inspired by the saturated red and green of apples and their leaves, TAKEO will release a new edition named \u201cPomme\u201d on October 14.
